Cancellation Policy

New Clients should arrive 10 minutes ahead of schedule, in order to complete required paperwork. We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice, regardless of the method of booking, should you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client. If you cancel with less than 24 hours of your appointment, or fail to attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to redeem a treatment from your package or voucher or retain your deposit. The following applies:

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling fee: $25
  • Pre-paid package: the treatment will be forfeited
  • Treatment: 50% of the appointment value
All unpaid cancellation/rescheduling fees that have been charged to a client’s account must be paid prior to, or on the day of, the client’s next appointment. Clinic Managers reserve the right to refuse any future appointment bookings should payment of cancellation fees not be made.

Rescheduling more than 24 hours prior

All appointment bookings made online, in person, or over the phone may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to that appointment time at no additional cost. However, Laser Body reserve the right to limit the number of times that an appointment can be re-scheduled. Same-day appointment time changes are not considered to be cancellations and are permitted subject to availability.

No Show

Failure to present for an appointment will be considered a ‘No Show’ and treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice. A cancellation fee will be charged to the client’s account.


Any exception to the application of this policy must be authorized by a Clinic Manager and will be documented on the client’s record. Laser Body does not accept or file any form of insurance for services or products. Clients are responsible for paying any balances in full before services are deemed or appointments are made.

Refund & Exchange Policy

Laser Body has a strict ‘no refund’ policy on all purchases, including all prepaid programs (whether these programs are paid in full or not) for change of mind reasons, in the event that your circumstances change, or in the event that you choose to discontinue treatments. Clinic’s credit may be issued at the discretion of Laser Body. Clinic’s credit has no cash value and may be only redeemed towards services by Laser Body. Laser Body will provide refunds in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act (Australian Consumer Law). You may be entitled to an exchange or refund of a product or service where it is:

  • Faulty;
  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing the service if they had known about it
  • Substantially unfit for its specified purpose and cannot be remedied within a reasonable timeframe;
  • Unsafe or creates an unsafe situation; or
  • Significantly different from its description/sample.
We may use our discretion if we believe the treatments purchased by you, cannot be provided to you (eg, your skin type might be deemed as unsuitable for the treatment you purchased). Any request for refund by you, for treatments purchased online through your customer portal, in store or through third party online deals must be made in writing and issued to: laserbodyaustralia@gmail.com.au, for our consideration. The clinic may decide, upon review of your written request, whether a refund is required. If there is a problem with a product or service, and it can be remedied, we will attempt to remedy it within a reasonable time. If remediation is not possible, the above will apply, and you may be entitled to an exchange or refund. Please keep and produce your proof of purchase for all refunds and exchanges (e.g.: your receipt). Customer results may vary, and as such, no refund or exchange will be provided if the service or product did not provide the desired result, excluding any faults/major problems outlined above. This refund policy applies and you agree to be bound by these conditions, when purchasing pre-paid treatments including packages for multiple treatments, vouchers or online deals. Our procedures and products may not be suitable for you and whilst all due care and skill is exercised in treating our clients ultimately it is your responsibility to determine if the product or treatment is right for you. In order for us to provide you with a great service it is fundamental that you provide all information requested in completing consent forms or advising us of any factors that may affect your treatments. You also need to have realistic expectations of the results of treatment. We encourage you to work with your therapist or health professional on what you can achieve with your treatment.

Pre-paid treatments, Packages or Online Deals made through Customer Portal Online

  • Treatments purchased online by you through the Customer Portal, continue to be regulated by Laser Body’s terms and conditions of use; privacy policy; cancellation and refund policy.
  • Proof of purchase must be provided. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind or circumstance.
  • Treatments purchased online are not transferable to other individuals, to other treatments or clinics.
  • 24 hours’ notice is required for any online purchased treatment appointment cancellations. If you cancel an online purchased treatment appointment with less than 24 hours, or do not attend the appointment, the treatment will be forfeited.

Applicable to all sales and promotions issued or advertised by Laser Body:

  • Not in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Pre-payment / purchase is required.
  • Available at all Laser Body locations unless otherwise specified.
  • Treatment packages are not able to be split between more than one person or transferred to another service.
  • Treatments/services and service packages are not transferable to other individuals or clinics.
  • Promotional pricing not applicable for existing bookings and will only apply to new bookings made and paid during the promotion period.
  • During our peak periods, clinics may request a small deposit to secure bookings and, once the appointment has been attended, this amount will be deducted from your total treatment cost.
  • Laser Body reserves the right to end a sale or amend pricing at any time without prior notification or advertisement.
  • Promotion pricing applies to specified treatments only. Excludes all other treatments and products listed in the Laser Body treatment and pricing guide, or website.
  • Laser Body therapists and practitioners reserve the right to determine suitable treatment for the client and to refuse treatment for the client if deemed not suitable. This decision is to be made by the Laser Body practitioner and/or therapist at their absolute discretion.

COVID-19 Policy or Forced Government Closure and Lockdown Policy

While services remain suspended due to Government restrictions, refunds are not available. Please note that if you no longer wish to attend an appointment due to concerns about COVID-19 or refuse to meet the mandatory safety requirements outlined in our COVID-19 Safe Plan, this may be treated as a ‘change of mind’. For anyone with pre-paid treatments, vouchers or else rest assured the expiry on your purchase has been automatically extended. For example, if you had 3 months remaining to use your pre-paid treatments or voucher before our clinics closed, you still have 3 months to use them from the date we reopen.
Please note refunds are not provided for change of mind. All of our clinics adhere to Government regulations for the health and safety of our customers and staff.
